1.) I need a lot of work and I want to improve my smile. What do you suggest?

We would need to see you for an exam, x-rays and then proceed to work up a treatment plan. Our friendly and courteous staff will be happy to discuss your treatment options with you in an open and non-judgemental atmosphere. We will also discuss financial arrangements with you, and come up with a plan that fits your budget. We want each and every patient to feel comfortable discussing their concerns with us. We are here to help in any way we can.

2.) Do you take new and/or emergency patients?

We absolutely do! Please call our office and we can schedule you today.

3.) At what age do you start seeing children?

The American Dental Association recommends that children be seen starting at age 1. Typically, we see most kids between the ages of 2 and 3. We have found that we are better able to look into their mouth and actually clean their teeth at this age. We are happy to see children starting at age 1, especially if their pediatrician recommends it.

4.) Do you provide cosmetic services such as teeth whitening?

Yes, we do offer teeth whitening solutions!  Not only can whitening your teeth improve your appearance, it can also improve the confidence you have in your smile!  The first option is custom-made trays, that you would have forever.  The whitening gel is the only thing you would have to continue to buy, at a low price!  The other option is Opalescence Go.  These kits come with 10 sets of pre-filled trays.  This is a great option for a one-time whitening.  Call us today and we can discuss these options more in detail!

5) Do I need x-rays? How safe are they?

Our office prefers that you have digital x-rays at least once per year. They allow the doctor to see what is happening beneath the visible oral tissues. X-rays may reveal such things as decay between the teeth and periodontal (gum) disease. Radiation from x-rays is extremely low and they pose a much smaller risk than leaving dental problems undetected and untreated.

6.) What insurance do you accept?

We are providers for Delta Dental, Principal and Wellmark Blue Dental.

7.) What payment options do you have and what are your financing options?

We take cash, checks, Mastercard, Visa, and Discover. We work with our patients to provide flexible in-house payment options . For those who need an extended plan beyond what our office can provide, we offer third party financing through CareCredit and Citi Health Card.

8.) Do you recommend patients be pre-medicated prior to visiting Dr. Brown?

The American Heart Association (AHA) along with The American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS), recommends that patients with certain medical conditions (regarding heart conditions or joint replacement) take antibiotics prior to dental treatments. If you have a medical concern in which pre-medication would be needed, please contact your Physician prior to your visit.
