About:
Dr. Ketki Sood is an experienced general and cosmetic dentist. She was drawn to the cosmetic component of dentistry and enjoys making people feel confident with their smiles. Her clinical expertise includes implant restorations, complex oral restoration, management of periodontal conditions and pediatric care. Dr. Sood is a native of California. She attended the University of California where she earned her bachelor of science degree in Neuroscience while being named to the Dean’s Honors List. Dr. Sood earned her doctorate at New York University College of Dentistry. At NYU, she was selected for Research Honors and presented at the International Association of Dental Research. Later, she advanced her training at a general practice residency at New York Medical College.
Currently, Dr. Sood serves as Clinical Adjunct Professor at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. She is a member of the American Dental Association and the American Association of Endodontics and actively pursues continuing education courses. She is committed to volunteerism and is a participant in Iowa Mission of Mercy. She is dedicated to providing the best possible care for her patients.
After practicing in the Northeast, she is excited to bring her expertise to Methodist Plaza Dental. Dr. Sood lives in Des Moines with her family and enjoys yoga and traveling.
